Yawn. I’m going to interrupt my bio page to speak for myself.
Hi, I’m Kelly. I’m giving you a big smile right now from cyberspace, even though you can’t see it. I’d shake your hand if we were meeting in person, or if you happen to be an armadillo, I’d try not to scream while giving your claw a friendly tap–I do try my best to be inclusive and outgoing with everyone.
There isn’t much I love more in the world than books; I love reading them, sniffing them (the pages have a musty aroma I find appealing) and writing them. The greatest goal I have as an author is that no person under the age of 18 will whine when they read my stories. You can call it a low expectation, but after having two kids of my own, I realize this is no small feat.
So you know I’m crazy about books-we can check that off the list. I also love my dog Winnie; she’s a 5-pound Maltipoo who likes to bark at squirells and other dogs passing by outside. All day. It’s sort of annoying, but she’s lucky she’s cute! I’m a big fan of all the Disney Pixar movies, especially Inside Out and Finding Dory. I have a strange allergy to squash and zucchini, and I don’t like pizza with lots of cheese. I moved to Indiana in 2001 from Florida, and I’m still trying to get used to driving through cornfields taller than my car.
So there you have it: useless, random facts about me that will take up space in your brain and keep you from recalling important phone numbers.
Until we meet again, happy reading!
Kelly
